¶ Wireless probe troubleshooting
A single probe is tested in the factory and is already paired to the machine on arrival.
(the box should be marked with a sticker)
Diagnostics:
- Does the green light show when pushing the tip of the probe?
- Does the laser switch on if you touch the tip twice?
- Does the orange charging light which on when placed in the holder?
- Does the Probe trigger in the diagnostics panel when touching the tip?
- Is it paired successfully to the machine? (see "wireless probe" topic under manuals section)
If any of the above is not working (contact support)
Scenarios:
Machine halts in the middle of an operation.
- The WP is not charged enough the finish the sequence and loses pairing information.
- Pair (see "pairing instruction" in the manual section) and charge the probe and try again.
The WP lifts out of the holder and does not charge. (orange light does not switch on)
- Push the bit back into the holder manually.
- The machine tool rack is misaligned (see “ATC misalignment” topic)
Alert when doing TLO the machine halts mid-air and gives an error.
- The WP is not charged enough the finish the sequence and loses pairing information.
- Pair (see "pairing instruction" in the manual section) and pair the probe and try again.
Voltage stays @ 0.0v and is not charging.
- Probe is not paired
- Faulty probe battery (contact support)
